MEETINGS - FCD Member Meetings are at the Peach Cafe and Coffee Bar in Old Town Monrovia. Please order entrees in advance (see their web site for menu) by 2:30 pm at 626.599.9092 for meetings. Specialty drinks and pastries are available for purchase the night of the meeting. Please support our generous host!

Help Repeal Prop 8

The Courage Campaign, a local California activist group whose President has spoken at our meetings is helping lead the way in repealing the discrimanatory Proposition 8. You can follow and support their their work at their Equality Hub.

Welcome Stephanie Yanchinski, Administrator of Caltech's Enterprise Forum!

Illness prevented her from being able to present in our March meeting, so are happy should could reschedule, Stephanie will make a presentation about what cities can do to encourage economic development, how small businesses can participate, use of high tech cooridors, etc. Come find out where the next jobs are being created!

Extra! Extra! We will have 3 drawings at the meeting for $10 Peach Cafe gift cards. One drawing will be from attendees bringing our handout invites from the Monrovia Day parade (see below). Another drawing will be from anyone joining/renewing that night. The last drawing will be from all paid members present. Good Luck!

American Recovery and Reinvestment Act Passes!
President Obama's recovery package was signed into law Feb 17. In support of the promised transparency and accountability of this massive package, the White House has launched a new web site to provide details of the plan and to track spending and job creation: www.recovery.gov
